>From The Sentinel Echo, Friday, Dec. 15, 2006: Mattie Miller Mattie Miller, 65, of Mitchell Creek Rd, London, KY died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, at Marymount Medical Center in London. Born Sept. 28, 1941 in Letcher County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Chester and Julia Whitaker Ison. She attended Wings of Victory and Word of Victory and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Venon Ison and Elmer Ison and her sister Anna Mae Ison. She is survived by her sons Kirk Mays and Kenneth Mays both of London, and Keith Mays, of Corbin, Ky; her brothers Chester Ison Jr., of Marysville, Ind., Bob Ison, of Charlestown, Ind., James Ison, of Franklin, Ind., Quinton Ison and George Ison both of Columbus, Ind; and her sisters Mary Kilburn, of London, Doris Ison and Irene Caudill both of Columbus, Ind., and Barb Watts, of Patoka, Ind. Her funeral is to be conducted at noon Friday, Dec. 15, at London Funeral Home, with Bro. Tim McClenney, Pastor Raymond Stapleton and Fred Watts. Burial is to follow at Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, Ky. Melva in KY Weeping may spend the night, but there is joy in the morning. - PSALM 30:5
