I was just visiting the Kentuckiana Digital Library website and came across this photo (http://kdl.kyvl.org/images/kukav/79pa104/0825.jpg) in the "Guide to the UK Radio Photographic Collection, ca. 1930-1950". The caption reads "Listening Post, Letcher Co., Cordon, KY"; Charles T. Chapman, 1930s. Does anyone out there recognize anyone in this photo and/or where it might have been taken (ie. what building/store)? I think the caption should have said "Gordon, KY" not "Cordon, KY". Brian K.     3. I am searchingg for a LON Doyle who came to Kentucky in 1921 to work in the mines with his family. Lon Doyle born about 1874 to 1877 Laurana Pennington Doyle Maggie Doyle who married Raymond Parker Edgar Doyle boy. Uley Doyle boy Estill Doyle boy They lived in Marion co tn 1900 and 1910 and 1920 in Hamilton Co, Tn. I can't find LON DOYLE ON THEY 1930 CENSUS AND HIS WIFE. Also James Edward(ed) Doyle was there with his family and Add Doyle came there too about this time. To work in the Mines. Lon has got to be somewhere there. Any help in finding him in Letcher Co,Ky would be GREAT. Linda Doyle
