Often when you order a death record, it will indicate who handled the services or who was the undertaker and/or which cemetery the person was buried in and when it took place. This is a record you could order from one of several private sources for one dollar plus a stamped and self-addressed envelope. Go to: http://www.usgenweb.org Click on : Kentucky. Scroll down that specific page until you get to : Vital Stats and you can see how to order. There are several sources. I have used with great success Mr. Chester WARD in the past. I am wondering if anyone is researching the line of Jehu Cody b. 12 Jan 1835 and his wife, Matilda Smith, b. abt 1837. As you leave downtown Whitesburg heading west (north) on the "old" Highway 15 (not the "newer" bypass) turn right onto Ohio St (about 0.6 miles from downtown). There is a subdivion sign there, but I don't recall exactly what it is (Westwood, or something like that). You should be able to see part of the cemetery on the left, behind the sign. Go down to the end of Ohio Street which ends at Vermillion Ave and make a left onto Vermillion Ave. Go a short ways until you see Della Dr on the left. Turn left onto Della Dr and you should see the cemetery on either side of the road. The main section of the cemetery is to your left. I hope this helps. Brian K. I am trying to find information about Willard and Leonard Hall who were in the household of Squire and Polly Hall on the 1910 Letcher County Census. They were listed as "cousins". She then later married Mack Carver Lawson. I've been told that the Leonard Hall that she was shortly married to was her first cousin, but I cannot figure out this relationship -- how they were related. I was also told that this Leonard Hall had a brother named Willard. Was also told that Leonard Hall worked in the mines and later was a taxi cab driver. I'm also trying to figure out the maiden name of Sarah/Sallie (4/1866) who married Joseph (Joe) Adams (b. 3/1865). We've been told her maiden name was Sexton and also Engle/Ingle. On one of her daughter's death certificates she lists her mother's maiden name as "Ingle". But we've also been told that Sallie had a brother named Ike Sexton who lived in Jenkins, KY and worked in the coal mines. Joseph Adams was the son of Simpson (Sims) Adams and Mary (Polly) Hampton. So, what I'm trying to learn is if Elsie Jane Adams Hall Lawson was related to the Leonard Hall through her mother or father's side of the family, and in what way. Thanks, Brenda
