Kim, I do not know any more about William M. Craft than what I posted. Something must have occurred with his parents prior to 1900 as his 19-year-old brother John is living with an uncle William Chisenhall, he (11 years old) is living with his grandfather James Chisenhall, as was 6 year old brother Edmund in the 1900 Wise Co VA census. When you solve this mystery please post it as I have Crafts and my husband has Colliers.-Deborah Thompson Clarkston ----- Original Message ----- From: "ansearchin" <ansearchin@cfl.rr.com> To: <kyletche@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, October 14, 2006 7:43 PM Subject: Re: [KYLETCHE] Day connections > I am unsure who made this post but I am very interested in knowing more > about the family below. I am unsure who made this post but I am very interested in knowing more about the family below. William M. Craft was married to my great grandmother Elizabeth Collier Hampton Ratliff. I descend from her first marriage to Mayo Hampton. My father and I are trying to locate more information on William M. Craft. Does anyone know if he was married before he married Elizabeth? We found him in the 1920 Census in Letcher County in Samuel P. Callier's [Collier] home. He is listed with 2 children named Samuel P. Craft age 9 and Sabina Craft age 3 and is Widowed. His relationship to the head of the house is son-in-law. Does anyone know who he married before marrying Elizabeth? Any help appreciated. Thanks, Kim Children of Samuel Craft and Clerinda Chisenhall are: > > 2 i.
