I have taken a few days and researched all the resources. KY Vitals provides a birth record for three children b. in Letcher Co, KY to Mary Whitaker, namely Mamie 1933, Cormie 1935, and James Curtis 1937. Given there were no earlier births, I expected her to have been born ca 1915, and I found one Mary Ann b. 1 apr 1915 Letcher Co, KY to Elijah and Minnie (Stamper) Whitaker. However, I find that Walter Banks was born c 1895 the son of Frazier and Rhoda (Back) Banks (I take this line back also. Now, since Walter would have been so much older than the first Mary Whitaker that I found, I am wondering if perhaps Your Mary Ann might have been born earlier, and I did find another Mary Whitaker b. ca 1905, to the same parents, Elijah and Minnie (Stamper) Whitaker. I have lineages back on both lines, but too voluminous to include here. If you will send me your regular email address, I will be happy to send you pedigree charts and genealogical reports. These families were almost always (in every census) surrounded by Caudill families, so it is not surprising to find they have intertwined, however, I have not certainly identified your Watson Caudill yet, as I have several in my files. That may take a bit longer. Thanks, Gloria Kay Vandiver Inman "Kay"
