There is no Jesse of an appropriate age in any other hh in 1870. Clayton Cox "Appalchia Crossroads", lists the wife of this Jesse Caudill as Sarah Eldridge. Further, Sarah "Sallie" Eldridge was the dau of Levi Eldridge and Easter Caudill.
