She actually had 11 children a daughter Minerva that died in infancy, sons, Burley, Willie(Chris), Bruce, daughter Bivian,Hettie, Mallie,Mackie,Bernice(my grandmother) Gladys, And Nollie. She died in Fayette co Ky on March 20, 1995 6 days after she turned 99. 6 of her daughters are still living Hettie, Mackie, Bernice, mallie, Gladys and Nollie. She was a little petite woman who had long hair that had never been cut. Her husband James Burkhart died of Pneumonia In the 1960's.
