Bill is the son of Arthur Pennington, Mabel's brother. Her brother Ernest is still living in Perry Co., KY. I have researced the Pennington and Howard families for your lines and have quite a bit of info. I also knew Mabel. I do not have info on the Surer family other than George and Mabel listed with their children. I think George was from Hazard, KY. If either of you have files you can forward I would like to add them to my research. I will also send you the info I have and any that I find along the way.. Do you use Family Tree Maker or some other program? I can send Gedcom files or I can send a Word document - let me know. Shelly - for your research: Timothy Surer married Darlene Fields - they have children Cynthia and Chelsey. They live on Coon Creek in Leslie Co. Darlene's family is from that area.
