Sorry I haven't had time to catch up. Yes, I live in Portage, In.. A stones throw from Grams house(Mable's). My uncle Jeff lives there now. He is the youngest. I was wondering if you could help with the Surer side of the family? Grandpa's (Porge's) original spelling of Surer. His father changed it when he went to work for the railroad. They lived in Hell Fer Sartin KY and East Bernstead, KY. I'm at a total loss. Richard Pennington posted a picture of Grams and Porge on the Pennington Geneology sight. I don't have scanner but I'll try to forward it to you. I'll try to mail you tomorrow but Bruce (my son) is still pretty sick. He's been home from school all week. His sugar is running 250's to over 500 the meter just says"HI". I'm still trying to get his insulin adjudt without the lows of 50's at 2AM. It is very tyring for both of us more so him.
