COST IS $100 FOR ADULTS AND IF YOU BRING 4 WEEKEND PARTICIPANTS YOU WILL GET A 20% DISCOUNT OFF OF YOUR 5 TICKETS, AND $20 FOR CHILDREN WHICH INCLUDES CAMPING, MEALS ON FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING, VENDING FEE, AND WORKSHOPS IF YOU WOULD JUST LIKE TO ATTEND THE FESTIVAL, FOLKLIFE, GENEAOLOGY AND VENDING WITH NO WORKSHOPS IT IS ONLY $1.00 ENTRANCE FEE. HERB FESTIVAL FACILITIES Mountain Tradition Herb Festival this year will be held at the lovely home of Daymon Morgan in Stinnet, Ky. nestled in the Daniel Boone National Forest, approximately 2 hours from Lexington or Knoxville. Mountain Tradition is a 3 day camping event on the land. Please bring your own camping supplies. We suggest the following: musical instruments, tent, bedding, flashlight, natural toiletries (there are no showers:we will be bathing in the river), picnic blankets, towels and swimwear, floor chairs and whatever else makes you comfy. Appalachian and Organic Live Foods will be sold at event. Fresh Organic Produce will be available for a reasonable price. Your invited to experience the healing power of living foods as well as Appalachian foods. We hope you join us on this journey to co-create a more beautiful and safe world for ourselves & our descendants in honor of our ancestors. We envision this gathering as a sphere of collective healing energy and peaceful influence for our personal transformation as well as the earth's. Delicious Appalachian meals. You will enjoy such fare as, poke patties, nettle soup, and living health foods. Registration is before the festival to better serve you. Camp set up begins at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday 12 th. School buses will be coming all day Friday to see all the herbal products, demonstrations, and crafts. Vending will also run Saturday at the same time as workshops and classes, so make sure you bring someone to man or woman, your booth. Home; Sunday after Breakfast .. Directions. If flying, fly into Lexington or Knoxville Airport. Get on I-75 and go North if coming from Knoxville or South if coming from Lexington. Get on on the Daniel Boone Parkway and exit off the Hyden Spur. At the deadend turn left on 421 and travel through Hyden, towards Harlen. Approximately 6 miles turn left on road 2009. Approximately 1 mile turn left on Lower Bad Creek Rd. Approximately 4 miles turn right in driveway, at festival sign, and enjoy. There will be festival signs at every turn..
