Sallie married John SPARKS b.abt 1874 the son of Franklin SPARKS. In 1910 Phebie Jane NAPIER BROWN was living with my great grandmother Emiline BROWN BROWN. On the 1920 Leslie Co., KY census Sallie and John SPARKS have living with them Sallie's mother, Phebie Jane (NAPIER) BROWN b. abt 1842. Phebie died in 1926. I assume that my great grandmother Emiline Brown may have died between 1910 and 1920 but I cannot find a death certificate for her. I have been trying unsuccessfully for quite some time to find out who Phebie Jane was married to, a BROWN, and was hoping to locate someone in the SPARKS family who might be able to help me with that information. Sallie signed Phebie's death certificate, and states that she was buried in the BROWN BURIAL GROUND, would anyone know where that may be located? I assume in Leslie Co., as my great grandmother was living in Marrowbone, and Sallie lived most of her life in Warbranch and Bad Creek area. My grandfather was born in Leslie County as well. I would like very much to find out where they are all buried. I am hoping to find someone in the Sparks family that still lives in Leslie County who might be able to give me some help in tracing this Cemetery as well as trying to find out who Sallie Brown Sparks father was. Sallie and John Sparks had a large family, 13 or more children and I hope that some of their family have stayed in Leslie County and would be able to help me with these questions. Please help. Thank you, Bettygene
