However, if you don't have this, it might provide some clue. To tell you the truth , for a while I thought I was hunting for a female by the name of Rosier. Then, it occurred to me Rosier was a male. I can tell you that as of 1930, Rosier KOGER was in Leslie Co., KY as follows: (census goes only up to 1930 available to the public): Dwelling 76-79 Cutshin, Mag. Dist #4 - Trace KOGER, Roser, 26, mar. at 21, b. TN; parents b. TN . .Bonnie, wife, 21, mar. at 19, b. KY; parents b. KY . .Hermer, son, 8 mo's, b. KY Then the KY Death Index shows: KOGER, Rosier E. lived and died at Harlan, Harlan Co., KY on January 30, 1979 at the age of 76 years. Vol. 6, Cert #2727. The Soc. Sec. Death Index shows him as follows: born: November 11, 1902 (so he was born before James Porter's death and not afterwards). Social Security shows that his last known residence was & SS# was:405-32-1192 Tallahassee, FL 32303 (county of Leon) His last benefit was paid at: Benham, Harlan Co., KY 40807; states his social security # was issued in KY in the 1950's What you do not explain is why he has a son, Ed WATSON who is your brother. I can only assume that at some point Rosier KOGER had children with your and your brother's mother but that they were not married. Otherwise, why would he be carrying a name which is not KOGER. If I knew the name of your and your brother's mother was, I might at least be able to determine when and where he (Ed WATSON) was born. As it is, there is not enough information provided by you to search further. Joyce Taylor Collins La Palma, CA
