I have done a fair bit of research in Leslie county on the surnames: CRESS; VERNON; SIZEMORE; SHEPHERD and MAGGARD so my ears perk up when I see any of these surnames posted in queries. A general suggestion to folks, my first names are common and when someone writes, "I am looking for information on John Shepherd" I delete the note without even checking my database because the person writing the query didn't care to give me any hint of the timeframe. It would be most helpful if people as standard practice, gave us readers an indication of the birthdate of the individual they are talking about so we can sort them out.
