I have a James Burkhart born 1876 in my file. He was the son of Perlina Burkhart & Solomon Burkhart. This James' age is similar to the James who married Martha. In looking at the census I noticed that James and Martha had a daughter named Palina, which is commonly used for Parlina/Perlina and one named Hettie. Perlina's parents were Solomon Burkhart & Hetty Gross.
