My paternal grandmother, Alice C. Caldwell-Boggs, had some half sisters and a half brother whose surname was GROSS: Mallie Gross-Causey, Betty Gross, and Dewey Gross. They were the children of Matison Gross and Jane Bledsoe-Gross. I believe Matison Gross died and after that Jane married Elihu Caldwell and they had a family which included my grandmother.
