The Sentinel Echo Wednesday, January 3, 2007 Boda Holland Homemaker Boda Holland, 79, of Smith Brewer Road, London, Ky., died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, at her home. Born June 16, 1927 in Leslie County, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Eli and Martha Parker Collins. She attended East London Holiness Church and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband John H. Holland, of London; her sons Curtis Holland and wife, Dorothy, of London; Rev. Jerry Holland and wife Patsy, of London; Bobby Gene Holland and wife Lillie, of Hyden, Ky; Roy Lee Holland and wife Ethel, of London; and Roger Dean Holland and friend Charlene, of London; her daughters Margie Ruth Collins and husband Gene, of New Washington, Ind., and Helen Marie Smith and husband Homer, of London; her sister Alice Malicoat, of Winter Haven, Fla; 23 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and six step-grandchildren. Her funeral was conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, at East London Holiness Church, with Joe Burns, Rod Ledford and Rod Shackleford officiating. Burial followed at Marcum-Holland Family Cemetery in London. Melva in KY Weeping may spend the night, but there is joy in the morning. - PSALM 30:5
