HOWARD b. abt. 1822; d. ___ married to Nancy BALL b. 1823; d. bef. 1899; through their daughter, Elizabeth Ann HOWARD b. 1-19-1841; d. 5-19-1928 in Harlan Co., KY. Elizabeth Ann HOWARD b. 1841 grew up and married William "Martin" SERGENT and had Deborah Lynn SERGENT who married John Major CREECH who had my grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth CREECH b. June 20, 1881 in Harlan Co. who grew up and married my grandfather, Samuel Roscoe BROWN b. 1880 in Harlan Co. From their marriage my mother, Maude Nell BROWN b. 12-26-1915; d. May 8, 2002 was born.
