This is the obit I have for James Dixon, do not have one for Stella Cornett Dixon. The Thousandsticks, Hyden, Leeslie County, Kentucky January 24, 1957 James Dixon, born Oct. 29, 1883, died Sunday, January 20, 1957, at his home on Dixon's Branch near Wooton, Ky. He was the son of Susan and James Dixon, Sr. of Wooton, Ky. He was the husband of Stella Cornett Dixon and the father of ten children. Besides his wife he leaves surviving, James Dixon, Wooton, Ky., Ruth Dixon, Grace Sturgill, Susan Boggs, Nesby Dixon, Hamilton, Ohio, Wilson Dixon, Fairborn, Ohio, Daisy Wells, Lexington, Ky., Nellie Wilson, Wooton, Ky., Rose Sturgill, Dunlap, Iowa, and Mollie and Harold at home. Funeral services were held in the Brown Chapel at Wooton, Ky. Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial was in the family cemetery on Dixon Branch.
