Brush Memorial United Presbyterian Church, Dryhill, KY., & enjoyed sewing, knitting, & quilting as hobbies. Oda was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., residing on Dryhill Road, Hyden, Ky., at the time of her death. Mrs. Oda Keen Baker was preceded in death by her parents: Lee Keen & Louisa Sizemore, Her husband: Daniel Boone Baker, One son: Ray Baker, Two sisters: Sally & Nora, Brothers: Cecil, Rex, Lee, Ernest, Charley, Kermit, an infant brother, Two grandsons: Johnny Ray & Jimmy Baker. Mrs. Oda Keen Baker leaves the following relatives surviving: One son: Edgar Matt Baker of Hyden, KY., One brother: James Keen and wife, Lillie, of Dayton, Ohio, Two sisters: Dorothy Williams of Hazard, KY., Jean Hoskins and husband, Denver of Crossville, Tennessee, Two grandsons: Randy Baker & Ricky Baker, Five great-grandchildren: Jordan Baker, Ashley Baker, Andrea Baker, Melissa Tackett,& Chassity Walden, daughter -in-law,Aline Baker of Lebanon, Ohio, Mother of her grandchildren: Marie Baker of Hyden, KY. and a host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends to mourn her death. The funeral service for Mrs. Oda Keen Baker conducted at 1:00 p.m. - Thursday - September 4, 2008 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Hyden, KY. Pastor Steve Springer officiating.
