David enjoyed seeking ginseng, boating, fishing and four wheeling. He was affiliated with the Stinnett Gap Church of God and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, Kentucky. Mr. David William Holland was preceded in death by his father: David Holland and leaves surviving the following relatives. Mother: Omeda Whitehead Holland of Asher, KY; Wife: Shawna S. Holland of Stinnett, KY; One Son: Damon Matthew Adkins of Stinnett, KY; Two Daughters: Britney Nicole Adkins of Hyden, KY; Jessica Helen Holland of Stinnett, KY; Two Brothers: Caleb Holland & Wife Rhonda of TN; David Boone Hall of TN; Two Sisters: Amy Asher & Husband Freddie Dale of Asher, KY; Glenda West of TN; One Special Aunt: Rosemary Tramell & Husband Otto. Also survived by a host of cousins, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. David William Holland held at 2 p.m. Sunday - September 7, 2008 at the Stinnett Gap Church of God at Stinnett, KY with Rev. Chad Hensley officiating. Burial in the Rye Cove Cemetery at Warbranch, KY. The following served as pallbearers: Matthew Adkins, Kevin Wilson, Alandis Brock, Kennedy Sizemore, Jr., Kennedy Sizemore, Fred David Asher, Nelson Anthony Sizemore, Caleb Holland, Hobert Ray Asher and James Wilson.
