He was the son of the late Adam Wooton and the late Lizzie Wooton. He attended the Hickory Gap Pentecostal Church in Busy, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents; and, Three brothers: Edward, Rufus, and Jack Wooton; One sister: Hazel Wooton Williams; and, one great-grandchild: Skyler Reynolds. Mr. Leroy Wooton leaves surviving the following relatives: wife: Linda Wooton of Busy, KY; two sons: Charlie Wooton & Sarah of Busy, KY, and Finley Wooton, Jr. & Diana of Busy, KY; four daughters: Geraldine Deaton & Bruce of Hazard, KY, Lorene Quillion of Busy, KY, Kathy Deaton & Earl, Jr. of Hazard, KY, and Irene Colwell & Clifford of Busy, KY; twenty-three grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Mr. Leroy Wooton held at the Hickory Gap Pentecostal Church at Busy, KY on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. The burial will take place at the 'Campbell Cemetery' at Willard, KY immediately following the funeral service.
