    1. [KYLESLIE] LEWIS descent DNA
    2. Would it help if I could talk my brother into having the DNA done? LEWIS or just to one of his son's, his DNA would be a big help in future discovery of his parents lines in Ireland and Wales. The 37 marker test is needed by all men. As of today there are only 2 men tested that have had the DNA tests and claim direct lines back to a descent of James T. Lewis. One of those didn't even know he was a descent and listed himself on back to Delaney Lewis, a great grandson. Example: I cannot do it, as my Mom was the LEWIS. My brother died in 2003, and my three MALE First Cousins who could provide LEWIS DNA keep on refusing to have the DNA test. Pure ignorance on their parts. This is the attitude of many men in Southeastern Kentucky as they take the attitude that they have birth certificates to prove their parents, and no one needs to know any more about them or their past relatives. Those attitudes are opposite of the purposes of having family reunions the past 200 years. Only 1 in 20 men asked to give a DNA test make claims of need of money to pay the $99. It is usually the women in the families that talk to the men to provide the DNA test to the LEWIS Project. We sure need more men and start getting more results to find our specific bloodline footprints in Ireland and Wales. > > > Another fact about JAMES Theo.
