    1. [KYLESLIE] 1830 thru 1860 in migrations within America (USA)
    2. This was a great question from one of our members, (Betty) and hopefully others would be interested. This was my response to her. She wondered why so many moved into the South and Deep South in those specific years of migration's. Hope this helps persons of today to understand. Q. - Why is it so difficult? LISTDAD > > > > > > > > > In the years 1830 thru 1860 so many researchers look for their ancestors. Q. - Why is it so difficult? A variety of reasons in the USA exist more so than in EUROPE, or the tiny British Isles, where so many immigrants to the new world and the 13 Colonies were the new arrivals. Older countries kept much better paper records. North America was a rather small population of Natives in year 1692. Even less total immigrants from ships bound to America before year 1816 existed compared to the population of Native people, and the peoples that came thereafter brought the old European tools, warfare inventions, disease and their agriculture within their ethnic groups and they primarily settled in large populated areas. Consider year 1816 thru year 1860, slightly more than [14,963,000 ] Fourteen Million Nine Hundred Sixty Three Thousand peoples came into the USA. In Europe from year 1816 thru year 1860, [23,400,000] Twenty Three Million Four Hundred Thousand persons left Europe, and only 14,963,000 of those came to the USA. The tide of immigration when "unchecked" affects the principle of population, so much that present people in the land is replaced by the new arrivals in the USA. It happened from 1692 to 1860, and it is now happening within all nations with unchecked borders. Paper records are scarce in unpopulated areas, and our modern day research of ancestors it is still very difficult to obtain any paper records.. The question: Is this tide of immigration good or bad? The answer is evident if it matters in your ethnic group, or your religion and your customs in your realm of democracy. Is it good or bad for your social education, your standard of living, your vision of crime, your vision of marriage and your children born within marriage or as bastard children. Consider that the Population of the Roman Empire from Caesar C. AUGUSTUS in year 14 B. C. was just at 34,000,000 peoples. Europe only increased its population to 46,700,000 peoples by year 1500. If you didn't know these facts about the earth population, you know it now! > > > > > > For continued research on Caesar C. Augustus, outstanding reading of this time period can be seen on line – in Google Books, “The Historie of Twelve Caesars” written year 1606. His Europe was quite large portion of this Earth. Reading shows similar population problems he had, in governing peoples and the immigrations. **************Big savings on Dell XPS Laptops and Desktops!
