She was a member of the Stinnett Pentecostal Church, Essie, KY., and enjoyed going to church & reading her bible. Edna Mae enjoyed gardening as a hobby. She was a devoted & loving wife, mother, & grandmother. Mrs. Edna Mae Bowling Howard was preceded in death by her parents: Crawford Bowling Sr. & Mollie Maggard Bowling, and was preceded by her devoted husband, Virgil Howard (died since year 2000), & two sons: > Eulas Gene Howard & Dean Russell Howard. Mrs. Edna Mae Bowling Howard leaves the following relatives surviving: one son, Larry Douglas Howard of Hoskinston, KY., two daughters: Anna Louise Howard of Hoskinston, KY., Lexine Howard of Maitland, Florida, four sisters: Wanda Brock of Ohio, Carol Sue Keen, of Hyden, KY., Helen Couch of Ohio, Lillian Foster of Indiana, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends to mourn her death. The funeral service for Mrs. Edna Mae Bowling Howard will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. - Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the Stinnett Pentecostal Church, Essie, KY., with Rev. James Bowling, Jr., officiating. The interment will follow in the "Morgan Cemetery", Saltwell, Hoskinston, KY., under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Staff.
