By occupation he was a retired coal miner. John H. enjoyed gardening & wood-crafting. John H. Adams was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife: Addie Adams & one daughter: Patsy Ann Mitchell. He leaves the following relatives surviving: two sons: Doug Adams & Brenda of Brumley, KY. & Greg Adams of Bromley, KY., two daughters: Debbie McCowan & Clayton of Williamstown, KY. & Paula Winston & Chuck of Demossville, KY., one brother: Woody Adams of Somerset, KY., 12 grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild. Funeral service for John H. Adams conducted by the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home on Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Big Fork Church of God at Yeaddiss, KY., with Whilmer Mitchell officiating. Burial in the Adams Cemetery at Yeaddiss, KY. Visitation begin on Thursday, May 28, 2009 beginning at 10:00 A.M. until time of the funeral.
