She was the daughter of the late John Berry Brock and the late Lily Asher Brock. She was a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. By occupation she was a homemaker. Some of her hobbies included going to church at the Dry Fork Holiness Church, planting flowers, sewing and quilting, and spending time with her family. Mrs. Ethel Brock Caldwell was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter: Marilyn Kay Caldwell; one brother: Will C. Brock; two grandchildren: Ethan and Jamie Caldwell; two sisters: Edna Wilder and Sarah Ellen Brock. Mrs. Ethel Brock Caldwell leaves surviving the following relatives: husband: Samps Caldwell, Jr. of Warbranch, KY; four sons: Grant Caldwell & Velma of Sadieville, KY, Chester Caldwell & Gelania of Warbanch, KY, Randy Caldwell & Misty of Warbranch, KY Vic Caldwell & Delilah of Bledsoe, KY; Two daughters: Georgia Lee Napier & Roy and Bobbie Roark & Lonnie both of Warbranch, KY; Three brothers: Farmer Brock & Roberta of Helton, KY, Charlie Brock & Irene of Beverly, KY, Kenneth J. Brock & Jennifer of London, KY; Five sisters: Hazel Robinson & Harold of Helton, Roberta Jackson & Johnny of London, Belle Brock & Elijah of Helton, Nannie Brock & Moses of Helton, and Francis Lewis & Nathan of Wisconsin; fifteen grandchildren: Jenna, Stanley, Doshie, Clifton, Cheston, Diane, Nicholas, Randi Ethel Nakelle, Misty, Johnnena, Shawna, Rodney, Shannon, Frankie W., Dennis Roy; and eleven great-grandchildren. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Caldwell held on Sunday, May 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dry Fork Holiness Church in Helton, KY. Visitation was held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the church. Burial place at the "Caldwell Family Cemetery" in Warbranch, KY following the funeral services.
