Folks, I have been getting emails from Hackers and Spam senders this week with some of our list members names as the sender of these bogus emails. Somehow they have penetrated the rootsweb list members and are sending these repetitive emails with same subject lines. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN and IMMEDIATELY DELETE. You may notice that these are also being sent in your personal email name, as if you sent the email to yourself. Every bogus email seems to indicate it comes from a rootsweb mail list member that I have received this week. I know what are legit and what are fake / bogus / spam. BEWARE of BOGUS EMAIL until this is resolved. It is possible, not proven, that these are originating by Spammers from within AOL websites. AOL is going thru many changes.
