Graveside services held at noon Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell. A Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale. Beth was born on Sept. 9, 1932, in Wilder to Harold and Elva (Case) Graber. She grew up on the family farm across the Snake River and was educated in Homedale. She met Bert Spencer in 1948 and they were married on Sept. 18, 1949, at the Homedale Nazarene Church. They then moved to Spanaway, Wash., and lived there for one and a half years. They returned to Homedale, Central Cove Area, in 1951. Beth worked at several nursing homes and at the Homedale Nursing Home until she retired in 1993. She moved to the senior citizen apartments in 2004 where she met her new friends and just had a ball. She was a member of the Homedale American Legion Auxiliary Post 32, as well as a member of the Homedale Senior Center. Mom's most loved pastime was dancing, making her rugs and sitting down with a good western book or movie. She is survived by her five children, Linda (Jim) Gammett of Homedale, Bill (Vickie) Spencer of Mountain Home, Ruth (Wayne) Sayler of Buffalo, Mo., Kathy (Fred) Fuller of Parma, Jim (Marion) Spencer of Cazadero, Calif.; one brother, Dave (Pat) Graber of Kent, Wash., one sister, Ramona (Bill) Jones of Pocola, Okla., one brother-in-law, John (Gale) Spencer of Homedale, two sisters-in-law, Berta Kandler of Dixie and Ada Connel of Homedale; 18 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
