His name is Joe (Joseph, many students in college called him Joe-E) Collett. He graduated from LCHS in 1992, which would make him around 29, and he then went to Alice Lloyd College (that's where I met him) and then he continued on at Hazard Community College. I kept in touch with him for several years after that up until the point that I lost my address book which had his address and phone number in it. All I can remember is that he was living in Stinnett (always had as far as I know) with his parents at the time. I would really appreciate any help that anyone could give me or if you could pass along my e-mail address to him if you know him that would be great too. My name is Andrea Cox but he knew me by my maiden name of Carter and I live in VA. Thanks so much in advance for any help. ~Andrea Cox [email protected]

He is the s/o Kermit Emerson Langdon, s/o Mathew Langdon and Nancy Ann Bowling. They must have been married around 1898 since their 1st child , Walker was born 1/1/1899. One researcher I found shows they were married in Boonville Owsley County. Can't confirm this. I know that Nancy was the daughter of Justice Tucker Bowling but don't know who her mother was. I found a marriage for him to Orlena Langdon Hart (Mathew's sister). but that's the only one I've found. Does anyone have any info? Thanks much.

Hello Everyone: I have added the following Kentucky County, death records of miners to the KY Coal Miners web site. Knox, Laurel, Boyd, Lee, Letcher, Morgan, Christian, Henderson and Hopkins. There records are great to locate our ancestor. These records tells us his name, name of mine, age and the conditions in which he was killed and his death date. I should have the rest up by next week. I will also finish the non fatal accidents, with name, mine and date of accident. Hope everyone enjoys the weekend. :) Smile. http://www.rootsweb.com/~kycoalmi/ Thanks Elva
