The Godfrey Memorial Library (Middletown, CT) is pleased to announce that the US 1860 Census Page Images and Index are now available on their website for in-library or at home use. The Library already offers at home access to the original census page images for the entire US Census, except 1900 and the online census indexes for all states for: 1790 through 1820, 1860, 1870, 1890 and 1910; and for some states for 1920. The Library has in-library access for the complete 1850, 1920 and 1930 census indexes. The Library also provides at-home access to over 20,000 books (genealogies and local histories), full-text, every word indexed. It also provides at-home access to the African American Biographical Database, full-text page images of thousands of biographical sketches from a wide number of sources. You need to have a library card ($35) for at-home access to these online collections. For full information call the library at (860) 346-4375.

A David Turner made a statement for my fifth ggrandmother Mary *Marsee* Nolan for her pension application for the war of 1812. That he was a neighbor and was present at their wedding in 1811 in Claiborne Tenn. This is the David Turner, that I am researching and have no clue as to his parents name or place of birth.
