Greetings, I apologize for the intrusion but I'm wondering if someone on the list might have a copy of the will for Micajah Frazier who died (apparently) in Lawrence County, Kentucky 1843. I'm just beginning to research the ancestry of some Floyd, Kentucky Fraziers (ancestors of Caroline Frazier who married Civil War soldier George Martin). Caroline's parents were Robert Frazier/Frasure and Frances Hall (both probably born in Virginia) and Robert's father is (to the best of my knowledge so far) indicated to be a John Frazier. Foraging through Kentucky census records I note that Micajah Frazier appears on the 1820 census for Floyd, Kentucky; other online sources suggest this is the Micajah Frazier who had a son named John (who likely would have been old enough to be Robert's father) and who died in Lawrence, Kentucky. Thanks for any help you might be able to provide. I'm especially interested to know if Micajah Frazier's will lists a son John of Floyd or Pike County, Kentucky. Best regards, Kenneth
Kenneth, I don't have a will in my records, but if you do happen to find one, I'd love to have a copy as I am a direct descendant, through his son William David and would love to proof for the DAR. Thanks!
