JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON MILDRED FIELDS FROM THE MIDDLETOWN (OH) JOURNAL 3/21/09 Mildred Edwards Fields, age 91, of Franklin, OH; beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and neighbor, went home to be with her Lord on March 19, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton. She was a homemaker and attended Riverview Baptist Church. Mildred was born on October 19, 1917 to the late Harrison and Debra (Blanton) Edwards of Sacred Wind, Lawrence County, KY. She married William Thomas Fields on August 21, 1945 who preceded her in death on April 11, 1975. Mildred was preceded in death by a sister Garnett, 2 brothers Glenn and Harry. She is survived by 3 children Glenn Fields and wife Teri of Wentworth, MO, Charles Fields of St Cloud, FL, and Ruth Pate and husband Vernon (Jigger) of Franklin, OH; 3 grandchildren Tom Pate of Franklin, Karen Hudson and husband Steve of West Carrollton, OH and Dan Pate and wife Gina of Monroe, OH; great grandchildren Brandon Pate, Zach Pate, Austin Pate, Olivia Pate, Cody Ritchie, Kyle Hudson, Cassie Hudson; 2 sisters Jewell Fields and Gloria Berg both of! Ashland, KY; a brother Arnold Edwards and wife Mahala of Monroe. Funeral services are March 23, 2009 at 11am at Anderson Funeral Home 40 N. Main St Springboro, OH with Rev Terry Ball officiating.
