JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON ELMER SPARKS FROM THE GREENE COUNTY (OH) DAILIES 1/22/09 Elmer D. "Buck" Sparks, age 64 of Fairborn, OH passed away January 20, 2010 in his residence. He was born November 16, 1945 in Mazie, KY, the son of the late Emory and Jane (Fannin) Sparks. Buck was a member of Carpenters Local 104 in Dayton and loved bluegrass music, building things, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bonnie; children, Penny Storms of Fairborn, Darrell (Linda) Sparks of New Carlisle, OH, Sherry (Shawn) Daniels of Marysville, OH, John (Tonya) Sparks of Fairborn; 11 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brothers, George (Rosemary) Sparks of Plain City, OH, Delmas (Jenny) Sparks of Blaine, KY; twin sister, Evelyn (Paul) VonDach of Marysville, OH; sister, Maggie (Ed) Robinson of Blaine, KY; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends January 22, 2010 from 5 until 8 p.m. in the Belton-Stroup Funeral Home,! 422 E. Dayton-Yellow Springs Road, Fairborn, where a funeral service will be held on January 23, 2010 at 10:30 a.m., Pastor Lanny Kellie officiating. Burial will follow in the Byron Cemetery.
