Do you think any of Morton's children are still living and might you have a way to contact them? If you look at the 1930 census, you can see why I believe my Isaac Salyer/s was living or renting from them. Malinda Salyer/s, Isaac's sister, was Martin Vanburen Berry's wife. It had been rumored that in his later years he went to KY to let his sister help him as he was poor and had lost a leg as a young man in the mines of VA. Since Martin's mother was an Adams, I'm thinking there is a reason Isaac was living w/ Morton and Alma. Morton was a 1st cousin twice removed of Malinda Salyer Berry's husband, Martin.
