James Webster and Rev. Jack Perry. Burial was in the family cemetery at Webbville. Mrs. Hillman died Dec. 11 in Doctor's Hospital at Columbus, Ohio following an extended illness. Mrs. Hillman was born July 30, 1898, the daughter of the late Doc and Mary Ellen Hicks Kitchen. Her Husband James Nelson Hillman died in 1965. She attended Christian-Baptist Church for 50 years. Surviving are a son Fred Hillman of Hilliard, Ohio, two daughters, Lola L. Bates of Grove City, Ohio and Mary Webster of Westwood; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Hillman Robert Lee Hillman SR, 75, of Webbville died Saturday afternoon at his residence after and extended illness. He was born Dec. 16, 1891, at Sandy Hook, KY, a son of the late James and Alice Gray Hillman. He was a retired farmer, Veteran of World War I, and a member of the Myrtle Chapel FreeWill Baptist CHurch. Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. from the Brammer Gap Methodist Church by Rev. Gallie Isaac and Rev. Jack Perry officiating. Burial was in the family cemetery at Webbville. Surviving are the widow Mrs. Doshia Hammond Hillman, two daughters, Mrs. Helen Carter of Columbus, Ohio and Mrs. Floyd McClone of Pickenington, Wis., two sons Donald G. Hillman of Louisa and Robert L. Hillman, JR of Mount Sterling, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. TOny Webb and Mrs. Ballard Kitchen, both of Webbville, a brother Charles Hillman of Webbville, six grandchildren and Two great-grandchildren. The body was taken from the Malone Funeral HOme, Grayson to the residence on Sunday. J.H. Hillman, 83 Dies at Webbville J.H. Hillman, 83, one of the country's most sustantial farmers and a prominent citizen, died late tuesday afternoon atthe Hillman home at Brammer Gap near Webbville, after an illness since February. Funeral was conducted from the Hillman home Thursday morning with the Rev. H.B. Hewlette and Rev. Fred Vanhorn officiating and interment was made in the family cemetery. A native of Virginia, Mr. Hillman came to theis section in his early youth and established himself as a progressive farmer in the Webbville section. He had been a member of the M.E. Church, South for 25 years. His first wife, Mrs. Alice Gray Hillman, died in 1900, and in 1907 he was married again. He is survived by his second wife Lottie HIllman, four daughters Mrs. John Griffith, Cherokee, Ky, Mrs. T.T. Webb, Webbville, Ky, Mrs. Ballard Kitchen, London, Ohio, and Mrs. Cecil Hammonds, Webbville, Ky. Four sons, J.T. Hillman, Ashley, Ohio, Charles and Robert HIllman, Webbville, Ky, and Nelson HIllman of Jean, Ky. Three sisters Mrs. Rosa Hannery, Cyline, Ky, Mrs. Lucy Keagley, Craymond, Wis., and Mrs. Minnie Wolf, Norton, Virginia and one brother A.J. Hillman of Worthington, Ky. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on October 9, 2008 at Berean Baptist Temple, 2445 Trebein Rd. with Pastor Lonnie Bocook officiating.
