Hi Laura, It looks like the family history centers can order a microfilm collection of Lawrence, Kentucky wills (the cost is $6 here - don't know if that's universal): http://www.familysearch.org/eng/library/fhlcatalog/supermainframeset.asp?display=titledetails&titleno=129660&disp=Wills%20%20&columns=*,0,0 You probably know better than I do if there is strong evidence Micajah died in Lawrence County. (I usually check ancestry.com and heritage quest for books of collected probate records but have found that Kentucky records are less likely than 17th-early 19th century Virginia [and other early colonies and states] to have been compiled into books. I also sometimes order the compilations by interlibrary loan rather than through the fhc to save a few bucks. I checked heritagequest for a Revolutionary War pension application for Micajah Frazier but couldn't find one (which may not mean that one doesn't exist). In any event I put the query for Micajah's will out there because of the 1820 Floyd census record showing Micajah in that county but it appears that there may well have been two Frazier families in Floyd County at the time. I'm just beginning to research the ancestry of some Floyd, Kentucky Fraziers (ancestors of Caroline Frazier who married Civil War soldier George Martin). Caroline's parents were Robert Frazier/Frasure and Frances Hall (both probably born in Virginia) and Robert's father is (to the best of my knowledge so far) indicated to be a John Frazier. Foraging through Kentucky census records I note that Micajah Frazier appears on the 1820 census for Floyd, Kentucky; other online sources suggest this is the Micajah Frazier who had a son named John (who likely would have been old enough to be Robert's father) and who died in Lawrence, Kentucky. Thanks for any help you might be able to provide. I'm especially interested to know if Micajah Frazier's will lists a son John of Floyd or Pike County, Kentucky.
