He was born November 16, 1945 in Mazie, KY, the son of the late Emory and Jane (Fannin) Sparks. Buck was a member of Carpenters Local 104 in Dayton and loved bluegrass music, building things, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters. I know that he had a son named Tom Mullins would committed suicide in 1943. Tom's wife was Luttie Artrip or Ferguson. So far the only information I have found on Booker is his death certificate and obituary. His obituary says that he died in 1917 was married at the time. His first wife had already passed away. I searched the old obituaries and found a Mrs. Booker Mullins that died in 1904. It does not say her first name, just that her father was Osburn Carter who had estates in England. I know there are a lot of Scarberry's and Carters in Cabel County WV...you might want to check there. My ggrandfather was born in Ohio (Lawrence County) and migrated to WV...as did a lot of families.
