And I'd like to know the name of the cemetery because I'm sure my great grandparents are both in there as they were both residents of this place. If anybody lives close by - could they go and take a picture of this place or try and ask some locals what the name is? It would be very much appreciated by people who have loved ones in that cemetery. Thank you, Christie Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. Issac and Ellen had seven children together. I have hundreds of other names and dates. I even have records of their childrens children...and more!! Issac Adams was the third child of Arthur Adams (1786, VA)and Frances (Peggy) Horne (1793, VA). They moved to Kentucky and settled on Big Blaine. They raised 11 children, Issac being one. We had TWO PRESIDENTS, John Quincy Adams and John Adams that are his decendents, and our forefathers. Please contact me...I have a ton of inforation that I would like to shar! e. Hope I have helped. My James married Sarah Jane Starkey and only had one son , my grandfather John Henry Ball. Sarah died shortly after her son's birth in 1881 in Greenup co. Ky. James never remarried as far as I have researched. He returned to Lawrence co and died in Fallsburg in 1914. My James was the s/o Eihue and Mary Ball. My side of the Balls came from Fairfax co.Va. and into Ky. I believe there was 4 sons and they all settled in the surrounding area. One in Pike co. Ky.,one in Carter co. Ky. One in Lawrence co. Ky. One in Wayne W.Va. I would say that your ggrandparents are related some how. The Ball family liked to use the same names for sons and cousins and brother. Will check out the Mullins site. Check on my tree at Applachian Roots for the Ball family. Everything has not been proved ,still working on the information. 3. I've seen these names but they are not in My DIRECT LINE and I have more work on that than I can possibly finish. Last night I got a phone call from a great grandson of my grandfather Moore's brother. It was either 1992 or 2002 that I had written to him. He still had the papers and is just now getting back in contact. So now I'm off on another part of my line. I started with my great grandfather and tried to get all descendants and people who had ever been in the family whether they left the family by death or divorce. Great for Spring to finally be here! or is it? mfodw ----- Original Message ----- From: gc-gateway@rootsweb.com To: kylawren@rootsweb.com Sent: Saturday, April 03, 2010 10:56 AM Subject: Re: charley hylton This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
