David Jesse had a brother Isaac Lester and Isaac was my 2nd great grandfather. I do have a photo of David Jesse and Regina Roseberry Moxely Lester with their son Martin William. They are left over from when we use to have the Lester and Cordle reunion in WV a few years ago. There may have been two brothers of David Jesse that died before the age of eighteen but I do have copies of photos of his brothers Isaac, Harvey and William Jefferson Lester and his sisters Margaret Lester Lyon, Catherine and Elizabeth Lester Skaggs (they married Skaggs brothers), Rebecca Lester Keaton, Nancy Lester Skaggs (her husband Lewis Skaggs was a twin to DAvid Jesse Lester's first wife Sarah Skaggs)and Matilda Lester Skaggs who was the singer Ricky Skaggs second great grandmother. I am not absolutely sure as to who he married and when as he seemed to have many marriages. The spelling of the last name seems to get beat up a lot as I have seen it spelled all different ways over the years. (I'm 57 now) My Grandfather was Elmer Asche and he married Verna Lora Kelly and they had My dad and a brother and a sister. Emma Asche also fits into this mess somewhere, as does a George Asche. I am one who believes a few records of family history were lost on such things as the wagon trains moving west and deaths along the way, etc. There does seem to be a lot of "Asche" names scattered all over the U.S. and all claim to not be related, however, with as many marriages as Frederick had, I'm sure there are relations we do not yet realize out there. H.B. and Jennie had a son named Horton Donahoe Hewlett, who married Margaret Jane Hill. Horton and "Peg" were my grandparents. My mother was Patricia Hewlett, who married Franklin D. Salisbury. Many years ago, Helen Blankenship gave my mother a map, which I used in 1991 to find the old Hewlett cemetery, just off the old Hewlett Road not far from Prichard, WV.
