The Swiss Colony and Whitt Cemetery are 2 different Cemeteries. I am not for sure exactly but I think that Swiss Colony sits on State Road 1950, But Whitt Cemetery is on a hill on Merritt Whitt Rd. I have grandparents who are buried there. I've been there once in my life. There are a few listings for that cemetery scattered around the Internet. None of the listings, to my knowledge, are complete transciptions of that cemetery. > > Here's just a couple of the sites: > http://freepages.history.rootsweb.com/~jennfish/Whitt%20-%20Hawk%20Creek,%20 Laurel%20Co/whitt.htm > http://newsarch.rootsweb.com/th/read/KYLAUREL/2003-02/1046400723 > > I don't see it listed on Cassy's Tombstone Central site yet: > http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~foe3643/ > > I believe that the Laurel County Historical Society has a book with this cemetery listed in it though. Hopefully someone on the list will be willing to do a lookup for you. > > > ==== KYLAUREL Mailing List ==== > To subscribe or unsubscribe to this list send an email to: > KYLAUREL-L-request@rootsweb.com > In the MESSAGE type the one word ....
