    1. we ned Help with Clay co Historical Society
    2. I got a letter from James Welch that the Clay Co. Historical Society is in financial trouble and will only be able to stay open one day a week - on Monday, and they will have to stop the internet service to the society. They will have one more quarterly then quit those too. The are having an emergency meeting on the 14th to try and raise some money so they won't have to close. I hate to see this happen so bad.

    3. Byrdball The Maries County Missouri Historical Society puts on a Bluegrass/Gospel music show with a raffle and a silent auction where they sell donated items once a year. They also sell the Maries County History Books they had published and other related publications. I paid $120.00 for the 3 volume set the last time I was there. They sell admission tickets to the show. I think they raise quite a bit of money this way, as a lot of the performers donate their time to the Society. You might want to consider organizing something like this. You probably have lots of good Bluegrass/Gospel Musicians in Kentucky.
