Does anyone know if Maplesville, KY is still a town? I have been told that it was about 5 miles east of London. I have a copy of a relative's renewal of faith in the Macedonia Methodist Episcopal Church of Maplesville. Also, I have a clipping from the "Mountain Democrat" newspaper from June 7, 1901 telling of the death of my grandfather's (Jacob Bill III's) brother, Sherman Bill. It says "the funeral will be preached this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home of his parents by the Rev. John B. Dickson and the burial will take place about 3 o'clock on Cemetery Hill". Would this be in London? Was Rev. Dickson of the ME Church? Thanks!
