>From Richmond, Indiana "Pal-Item" 4-20-2005 Belve Marcum Sr., 55, of Williamsburg, died Monday, April 18, 2005, at his home after a short illness. He was born May 20, 1949, in Manchester, Ky., to Carlo and Frances Sizemore Marcum and lived in the Richmond area most of his life. He was a member of Laborers Local Union 1047 and Teamsters Local Union 135. Belve enjoyed racing stock cars. Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Catherine; four children, Belve (Annette) Marcum Jr. of Williamsburg, Paul Marcum of Richmond, Jaime (Jason) Kirkman of Richmond and Harriett (Jody) Smith of Manchester, Ky.; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Jemima Marcum of Manchester, Ky., Beulah Spurlock of London, Ky., Geneva Henson of London, Ky., and Malvery McMillan of Indianapolis; two brothers, Harold Marcum and Hiram Marcum of Manchester, Ky.; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. His parents and six brothers and sisters, Marina Hacker, Cecil Marcum, Estella Key, Lila Marcum, Raleigh Marcum and Ford Marcum, are deceased. Funera! l services for Belve Marcum Sr. will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2005, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. William Wyatt officiating. Burial will be in Lutherania Cemetery.
