Hello Laurel List! it's me again asking for prayers again, this time for my great-granddtr Eimi McAndrew, 2 1/2 months old. Eimi has been in Tucson hosp for over a week on "heart machine." She was life-flighted there from her home at the USArmy base Ft. Hauchuka(sp) after she became unconscious. yesterday, my granddtr told me that Eimi will have an artificial heart implanted tomorrow, 5-20. surgery will be preformed by Dr. Copeland who has great rep in heart/lung transplants! as Micha said, "God put us in the right place for help for Eimi!" Eimi's mom Micha served in Iraq and became preg about 6 months after she returned home to Ft. Story, VA. Micha's usarmy hitch exp'd a couple of months ago; Eimi's dad Matt is career army and was transferred to Ft. Hauchuka(sp) shortly after Christmas. Micha was very preg when they made the Xcountry drive/move---which i'm sure wasn't good for her or Eimi. Thanks in advance for your prayers!!!!!
