My greatgrandmother Anna Forbis, daughter of William Forbis/Forbes and Sarah McCammon of Clay/Laurel Co KY, married George W Henson on July 21, 1825 Martin Co Indiana. Martin Co and Lawrence Co are adjacent each other. I don't know why Anna was in Indiana, when she married, but she and George were found later in 1828 Laurel Co KY Tax List ... maybe they returned to KY? Sarah McCammon, daughter of William McCammon and Anna Cathers, married William Forbis on Dec 02, 1808 Clay Co KY. Anna Cathers is thought to be a sister to Rev War Vet Edward 'Ned' Cathers of Clay/Laurel Co KY. William Forbis is the son of Rev War Vet John Forbis of Clay/Rockcastle/Laurel Co KY.
