Mr.Davis Do you also look for Civil War soldiers graves? My gggrandfather,Alvin Reedy(civil war), died in Laurel county in 1897 and I have been unable to find where he is buried. Can you give me any advice? Thank you, Ferby Cole
Ferby, Have you gotten Alvin Reedys pension file from the National Archives? If you request the entire file you might learn where h e is buried It might cost you some. I paid $65.00 for my grandfather`s. You can obtain a memorial stone and place it in any cemetery if you do not know where he is buried.. I haven`t tried this but I under stand it can be done. Do you know in which unit he served? If you don`t I can help you. JESS WILSON ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lester A.
