He or his son reportedly had a son named Anderson. My Darling Jones (b. 11 Oct 1815 in NC, d. 1 Oct 1907 in Weakley Co, TN) also had a son named William Harrison Jones and a cousin named Anderson Jones. Was the Laurel County Darling born in SC or NC? Any info on this family might establish a connection between the Darlings and thus help me to discover the county of origin of my own Darling Jones.
