Estridge Glenna M. Estridge, age 85, of Franklin, Ohio, died Wednesday, January 19, 2005, at Middletown Hospital. She was born in Hazel Patch, [Laurel County] KY on March 31, 1919, the daughter of Ance and Nola (Tinch) Philpot. She was formerly employed by the House of Drugs in Franklin for 38 years and the Towne Mall for 11 years in customer service. She was a member of the United Church of Christ and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lloyd Estridge in 1989; a son, Ralph Estridge in 1996; a grandchild, DeAnna Estridge in 1981; a brother, Earl Philpot; sisters, Elizabeth Robinson, Anna Bays, and Rosie Hensley. Surviving are a daughter, Donna Peters and husband Mike of Franklin; grandchildren, Julie Davidson and Fiance Christopher Smith, Ralph Estridge and wife Tina, Mary Akers and husband Steve, Maria Combs and husband Bob; brothers, Mills Philpot and wife Florence of Middletown, Ernie Philpot and wife Mary Jane of Centerville; 9 great grandchildren; special friends, Charlie Foote and family; daughter-in-law, Vena Estridge of Germantown. Funeral services are Monday, January 24, 2005, at 2pm at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. 2nd St, Franklin, OH with Pastor Nate Moore officiating. Burial will be in Woodhill Cemetery.
