Obituary from The Republican, Thursday, March 10, 2005 Danville, IN Evelyn George Blankenship, age 88, Lebanon, died March 5 at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon. Services were March 7 at Matthews Mortuary, Dennis Dewitt, of Glad Tidings Assembly of God, officiating. Burial was in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Zionsville. She was born August 8, 1916 in London, Kentucky, the daughter of Roy and Ida Combs George. She had resided in Lebanon for four years. She worked as a nurse's aide at Hendricks Regional Health for 20 years retiring in 1985. She was a member of the London, Kentucky, Baptist Church. Survivors include sons, Clifton Blankenship of Danville, John Blankenship of Lebanon, Charles Blankenship of Arlington, TX, and Jerry Blankenship of Lebanon; daughters, Odetta Williams of Forestville, TX and Mary Williams of Forestville, TX; brothers Howard George of London, KY and Leroy George of East Bernstadt, KY; sisters, Alpha Vidito of Florenceville, KY, Erma Lee Swank of Cincinnati, OH, Eulene Watkins of London, KY, and Ruby Patton of East Bernstadt, KY; 18 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi Blankenship. Anna - Indiana
