There were several Ernest MULLINS born bet. 1920 and 1930 in Perry, Floyd and Knox and perhaps Pike Co.'s. You this Ernest was born prior to 1911, there will be no birth record available. If, however, he was born after 1911 and you are able to furnish some additional information, perhaps he could be located. Joyce Taylor Collins La Palma, CA

MULLINS, Stephen to BRAFFORD, Lizzie on August 28, 1907 MULLINS, Steve to ROBINSON, Mary on Jan 27, 1916 On the 1910 Laurel Co., there is this listing: Dwelling 187-189 MULLINS, Steve, head, 33, mar. 3 times, mar. 3 years, b. On the 1920, I do not see any appropriate Steve/Stephen of John S. or John Stephen MULLINS. 3. Joyce thank you very much, the F in Joseph's name is for Franklin. I know the one you found in 1910 in Laurel Co. is him, on the records for his birth in Wise for father it listed Isaac Williams ? and Mary Jane Elkins as the mother. I was wondering if his father could have been a Williams and not an Elkins at all, and Mary and Isaac never married until she married Samuel Crager? I didn't know about Aaron, Joseph's brother, I do know that one of Joseph's sons was named Isaac Aaron b. 1918 he is the one that married my great-aunt, it's her son I'm doing this research for, once again I can't thank you enough. 3. Byrdball The Maries County Missouri Historical Society puts on a Bluegrass/Gospel music show with a raffle and a silent auction where they sell donated items once a year. They also sell the Maries County History Books they had published and other related publications. I paid $120.00 for the 3 volume set the last time I was there. They sell admission tickets to the show. I think they raise quite a bit of money this way, as a lot of the performers donate their time to the Society. You might want to consider organizing something like this. You probably have lots of good Bluegrass/Gospel Musicians in Kentucky.
